The Fortress Product Performance Validation (PPV) establishes the appropriate test piece dimensions to be employed when conducting contamination testing for a specific product.

Providing a PPV certificate serves as evidence that routine validation tests conducted by operators are achieving the smallest contaminant size feasible for a given product.
